This season has been challenging for Gordon, with multiple absences shaping his availability. He missed November 22, endured a 19-game drought, returned in January, then missed again on January 27, followed by a 17-game gap. He finished the year with 36 appearances, averaging 16.2 points, 5.8 rebounds and 2.7 assists on 49.7% shooting and 38.9% from deep.
In the final week of the regular season, Gordon appeared on the injury report and was sidelined for the last two games against Oklahoma City and San Antonio. Denver used the week of practice to prepare, and there were no additional injury concerns reported.
The Nuggets closed the season on a 12-game winning streak and enter the playoffs as one of the league’s hottest teams, looking to carry that momentum into a tough series with Minnesota.
Gordon brings veteran playoff experience to Denver, now in his sixth NBA season with the team. He logged 61 playoff appearances and a championship run with Denver, and last season posted 16.2 points, 7.6 rebounds and 2.7 assists per game during the Nuggets’ playoff push.
Game 1 is scheduled for Saturday with a 3:30 PM ET tip-off, and Gordon’s likely availability provides Denver with an important tested contributor as they begin their postseason campaign.
