Arsenal’s progress stands out: a sustained, unique shift in recent years.

Arsenal prepare to face Leeds United, with Daniel Farke expressing high regard for the Gunners. Arteta has an impressive record against Leeds as a manager, remaining unbeaten in 10 encounters (nine wins and one draw). Notably, Arsenal routed Leeds 9-0 on aggregate across last season’s two matches.

Farke acknowledges the enormity of the challenge and aims for a stronger showing when the teams meet on Saturday.

Daniel Farke has hailed Arsenal as exceptionally consistent in recent years, noting their ascent in the Premier League and Europe. Arsenal entered the Premier League title race in the 2022/23 season, finishing as runners-up, a position they replicated in the following campaign. After some skepticism about their consistency, Arsenal demonstrated their championship credentials by clinching the league title last season. Farke, who has faced the Gunners multiple times, lauded their level of performance and attributed their sustained excellence to a combination of quality, planning, and execution.

In recent seasons, Arsenal has demonstrated unmatched consistency by finishing in the top two in the Premier League across four consecutive campaigns, culminating in a league title last season. The club also improved dramatically in the Champions League, progressing from the quarterfinals to the semifinals, and reaching the final last season. This level of sustained form marks elite consistency and places Arsenal among the leading teams in European football.
