Hoofnagle offered background on how she and Darnold met—introduced through a mutual friend at a Charlotte bar—and explained that the proposal came as a pleasant surprise, even if she sensed it was coming eventually.
Steinfeld also shared details from Hoofnagle’s wedding weekend, noting a Friday ceremony followed by a chilly but enjoyable Saturday hangout, with a pool cabana reserved for about 50 friends. Hoofnagle underscored the value of hiring a wedding planner to navigate the planning and vendor coordination.
