Garoppolo’s NFL journey began with the New England Patriots, who drafted him 62nd overall in 2014. He spent parts of four seasons in New England before being traded to the San Francisco 49ers, where he continued his professional career.
Over 12 seasons as a starter, Garoppolo has a 43-21 record and a 4-2 mark in the playoffs, reflecting his longevity and reliability in various offensive systems.
If he does retire, it would cap a notable professional run that included stints with the Patriots and 49ers, as well as a recent period as a Rams free-agent option at quarterback.
