Reports ahead of the RBC Heritage suggested a late withdrawal could have opened a spot for Koepka, with the addition of Keith Mitchell and Taylor Moore to satisfy Returning Member Program guidelines. A caveat noted that if the WD involved one of the 10 event winners from 2025 making up a start from Sentry, that spot would not be filled.
By the time the RBC Heritage began, Koepka’s name had not appeared on the leaderboard, indicating he did not receive the late entry he needed to join the field.
Koepka’s next PGA Tour stop is the Zurich Classic, where he will team with Shane Lowry in the stroke-play team event. He will be replacing Rory McIlroy as Lowry’s partner for the event in New Orleans.
On the heels of a Masters performance he described as refreshing, Koepka has emphasized a renewed sense of enjoyment on and off the course. “Yeah, I’m just enjoying it a whole lot more,” he said, noting a noticeable difference in his outlook and how he approaches each week.
