Emmanwori, a second-round pick, played in 14 regular-season games with 81 tackles, 2.5 sacks, one interception and 11 pass breakups. In the postseason, he has a fumble recovery and four passes defensed, including three in the NFC Championship game.
Patriots quarterback Drake Maye was a full participant in Wednesday’s practice after being limited earlier in the week with a right shoulder issue. Maye took all of the first-team reps during a 90-minute session at Stanford Stadium in Palo Alto, per a PFWA pool report. He said his shoulder had improved enough for a normal workout on his first full Bay Area day for the Super Bowl.
Maye’s breakout season earned him second-team All-Pro honors and finalist consideration for MVP and Offensive Player of the Year. He led the league with a 113.5 passer rating, completed 72 percent of his passes and averaged 8.9 yards per attempt, throwing for 4,394 yards and 31 touchdowns.
Patriots linebacker Robert Spillane, who injured his ankle in the AFC Championship Game, did not participate in Wednesday’s practice, according to the pool report.
On Seattle’s side, left tackle Charles Cross and backup Josh Jones were limited. Cross has battled foot injuries since mid-December, while Jones has an ankle and knee issue after starting in relief, and Cross played through the NFC Championship Game.
