Bradley and Saleh first crossed paths in Seattle, where Bradley was the defensive coordinator from 2009–2012 and Saleh joined as a defensive quality control coach in 2011, absorbing Bradley’s scheme and philosophy early in their careers.
Bradley later hired Saleh as his linebackers coach with the Jacksonville Jaguars in 2014, giving the aspiring coordinator his first NFL position-coach role. They spent three seasons together in Jacksonville before Bradley was fired in December 2016.
The two reunited in San Francisco for the 2025 season, with Saleh serving as the 49ers’ defensive coordinator and Bradley joining as assistant head coach on defense. Now, Saleh has brought Bradley to Tennessee, where their duties are effectively flipped from their prior dynamic.
Bradley’s hire injects extensive defensive experience into a Titans unit that will rely on Saleh to handle play-calling. Bradley’s vast resume includes stops with the Seahawks (where he helped lay the groundwork for the Legion of Boom), the Chargers, Raiders, and Colts, making him one of the league’s most seasoned defensive minds.
The Titans’ coaching staff is also taking shape under Saleh’s vision, with Brian Daboll hired as offensive coordinator to develop 2025 No. 1 overall pick Cam Ward. The defensive coordinator position had opened after Dennard Wilson’s firing, with Tennessee aiming to improve after a 21st-ranked yards allowed and 28th-ranked points allowed in 2025.
