The Athletic, in a report by Katie Strang, Carson Kessler, Nathan Fenno and Alex Andrejev, says the emails show Epstein actively scouting and providing women for Tisch, with interactions spanning May to September 2013. The reports note Epstein’s prompts and Tisch’s replies, which often referenced NFL commitments.
One cited exchange from April 21, 2013 describes Epstein guiding a contact named Katya, who asks to meet Tisch and provides contact details, while Katya also references Tisch’s status as an Oscar-winning producer and Giants owner. The back-and-forth suggests Epstein was coordinating introductions.
Further examples, per the reports, include May 2013 exchanges about bringing a woman to meet Tisch and June 2013 messages in which Tisch asks about a specific woman’s background, with Epstein responding with descriptors and Tisch continuing the conversation, including questions about attending events or lunches.
Both ESPN and The Athletic note that there was no comment from Tisch or the Giants in response to requests for comment on these revelations.
Contextual background: Epstein’s criminal history includes a 2008 guilty plea to soliciting sex from girls as young as 14, and a 2019 arrest on sex-trafficking charges. He died in custody a month later, with the death ruled a suicide by hanging by the New York medical examiner. Steve Tisch has longstanding ties to the Giants, moving into a leadership role as chairman and executive vice president in 2005, and is also known for his film production work, including Forrest Gump. The reports indicate invitations to games and events were discussed in 2013, but it remains unclear whether Epstein attended any, or what actions resulted from the exchanges.
