Among those expected to be full participants are Kenyon Sadiq, Dane Belton, Omar Cooper Jr, and Kiko Mauigoa. Glenn indicated it’s good to have these players back and ready to contribute.
The return of the rookie: Omar Cooper Jr has missed the last four games after suffering an ankle sprain in the season opener, where he made one catch for 30 yards before getting hurt. He was placed on injured reserve prior to Week 2 and is now eligible to be activated off IR. While eligibility is not a guarantee of a return, Glenn said he’s excited to have Cooper back and emphasized the value of rookie return opportunities when healthy.
Glenn also confirmed that Cooper is expected to be activated off IR, which will require a corresponding roster move to open a 53-man spot.
This is a developing story, and updates will follow as more information becomes available.
