Doubs began wearing the Guardian Cap in 2024 while with the Green Bay Packers. Although the caps are not mandatory for games, Doubs chose to wear one to prioritize safety after sustaining two concussions during the 2024 season. In speaking about the new partnership, Doubs emphasized the importance of safety in maintaining a high level of performance and encouraging younger players to consider similar protective measures.

From Green Bay to New England
Doubs was selected in the fourth round of the 2022 NFL Draft by the Packers. During his time in Green Bay, he accumulated 202 receptions, 2,424 receiving yards, and 21 touchdowns. Earlier in the year, he signed a four-year contract worth $68 million with the New England Patriots as a free agent.
In his first game with the Patriots, Doubs was targeted three times but did not record a reception. Despite that start, his role with New England is expected to grow. With wide receiver A.J. Brown placed on injured reserve, Doubs has the potential to become a primary weapon in the Patriots’ passing attack as the team moves forward.
