Despite the ongoing discussions with Valencia, there has also been speculation about interest from Italian clubs Napoli and Lazio. However, reports indicate that Elliott has now agreed personal terms with Valencia following positive talks.
Iraola’s position on Elliott’s future became clearer ahead of a match against Nottingham Forest, when the manager explained his squad selections and emphasized the need to balance the team’s options. He said that while Elliott is making progress, he currently prefers other options and had to make tough choices when finalizing the matchday squad. Nevertheless, he stressed that every player has opportunities to prove themselves in the coming weeks.
