NFC East
1) Dallas Cowboys — 11-6
The Cowboys project to win the division, thanks in large part to a strengthened defense. Rashan Gary and Von Miller join a unit that already features a trio of impactful defenders, with Quinnen Williams providing interior disruption and a high draft investment at safety in Caleb Downs. If Dak Prescott stays healthy and the offense operates efficiently alongside star receiver CeeDee Lamb, Dallas should once again be playoff-caliber.
2) Philadelphia Eagles — 10-7
Even with the loss of A.J. Brown, Philadelphia remains a formidable squad led by Jalen Hurts and DeVonta Smith. The defense is strong, but the schedule looks tough, and the team may experience a slight step back from last season’s division crown as it navigates a challenging slate.
3) Washington Commanders — 9-8
Washington enters a bounce-back year with a fortified defense. The offense hinges on quarterback development and health, but if the signal-caller healthily builds on last season and the defense continues to improve, Washington could outperform this projection.
4) New York Giants — 6-11
New York faces a transition year with changes at quarterback and across the roster. A legitimate improvement is possible, but the team will likely require more time to gel and become a consistent playoff contender.
NFC East winner: Cowboys
NFC South
1) Tampa Bay Buccaneers — 10-7
Tampa Bay appears poised to contend in a wide-open division. A stable roster and a few key pieces around quarterback Baker Mayfield give the team a real chance to push for the postseason again.
2) Carolina Panthers — 9-8
Carolina made notable strides last season, and Bryce Young’s development continues to be a focal point. The roster around him has improved, and another competitive campaign is on the horizon, though a division title remains within reach for only the boldest teams.
3) New Orleans Saints — 8-9
New Orleans offers intriguing young talent and potential quarterback growth. While the Saints could surprise and contend for a division crown, there are still questions across the roster that could limit ceiling.
4) Atlanta Falcons — 7-10
Atlanta has talent, but consistency remains an issue. Until the Falcons demonstrate reliable wins, it’s tough to place them ahead of the stronger teams in this division.
NFC South winner: Buccaneers
NFC North
1) Chicago Bears — 11-6
Chicago is a strong favorite to win the North. With Caleb Williams progressing into Year 3 and coach Ben Johnson continuing to refine the offense, the Bears have already shown they can win tight games. The division title looks within reach again.
2) Detroit Lions — 10-7
Detroit remains a legitimate threat, and a softer schedule could help. With Jared Goff leading the offense, supported by Jahmyr Gibbs and Amon-Ra St. Brown, Detroit’s unit is among the league’s most potent.
3) Green Bay Packers — 10-7
Green Bay should remain competitive and in the playoff mix, though the path might be narrower. Jordan Love has a solid supporting cast, and the defense should keep games close, even if the team doesn’t dominate every matchup.
4) Minnesota Vikings — 9-8
The Vikings present a challenging projection due to quarterback uncertainty and roster volatility. Expect a competitive season with several tight games, but not quite enough to secure a playoff bid.
NFC North winner: Bears
NFC West
1) Los Angeles Rams — 12-5
The Rams are positioned as the top team in the conference this season. With Sean McVay steering an explosive offense and Matthew Stafford performing at a high level, the addition of Myles Garrett provides a further edge. Despite a demanding schedule, this roster is built to contend deep into the year.
2) Seattle Seahawks — 11-6
Retracing the path of last year’s championship run, Seattle returns much of the core that carried the team. Jaxon Smith-Njigba adds a true number-one receiving threat, and overall roster continuity bodes well for another strong campaign.
3) San Francisco 49ers — 10-7
San Francisco remains stocked with star power, including Brock Purdy, Christian McCaffrey, George Kittle, and Nick Bosa. Health is the primary variable; with the roster mostly intact, another playoff push is very plausible.
4) Arizona Cardinals — 4-13
Arizona faces a difficult road in a tough division. While there is youthful upside, depth and consistency are concerns, making a higher win total unlikely in a challenging schedule.
