Transfer insider Ekrem Konur has indicated that Chelsea have rejected two previous bids for Chalobah and have now set a valuation around £30 million (€35 million). According to Konur, Como have submitted an offer comprising £20 million (€25 million) guaranteed plus £4 million (€5 million) in achievable add-ons, bringing the total close to Chelsea’s asking price.
The report notes that Como’s European competition status makes the project appealing to Chalobah, who is reportedly open to terms and is not expected to create friction over personal terms. Inter Milan are also reported to have held discussions with Chalobah as they seek to bolster their central defense options this summer. Crystal Palace are mentioned in connection with the player, while Aston Villa and AC Milan are said to be monitoring the situation.
Chalobah is reportedly leaning towards a move to Inter or a switch to Serie A, which could complicate pursuit by other clubs. Nevertheless, Chelsea’s revised valuation aligns with the likelihood of a transfer occurring, with ongoing talks suggesting movement remains possible.
Additionally, Chelsea are poised to sign Maxence Lacroix for around £52 million, which would provide a ready-made replacement option in defense.
