Sellers, a Georgia native who went undrafted in the most recent NBA draft, had been reported to sign a two-way deal with Chicago. The agreement is now official.
In college basketball, Sellers developed into a notable scoring option. After taking a medical redshirt in the 2024-25 season at UCF due to a serious back injury, he returned for his senior year and displayed strong scoring form, averaging 18.3 points and 4.2 rebounds per game while shooting 47.3% from the field, 42.9% from three-point range, and 85.9% at the free throw line. While he is recognized for his scoring ability, he has faced questions about contributing in other facets of the game.
Standing 6’4″, Sellers led the Big East in points per game and free throw percentage in the 2025-26 season and earned second-team all-conference honors. His college career spanned three programs: Ball State, where he played his first two seasons, followed by stints at UCF and Providence.
Prior to the draft, Sellers appeared on draft boards, with rankings placing him among notable prospects. He was listed as the 97th-ranked player on ESPN’s board and 79th on The Athletic’s draft guide, reflecting strong expectations from analysts about his potential at the professional level.
