Daniel Susac was placed on the 10-day injured list with right elbow ulnar neuritis, retroactive to April 20, while RHP José Buttó was transferred to the 60-day injured list, according to the Giants’ update posted on X.
With Susac on the IL and Buttó unavailable, Haase’s addition provides an experienced backstop option behind the plate as the Giants rotate players amid early-season injuries.
