The filing also states Woods stepped away on the phone and said he had “just been talking to the president,” before trailing off; President Donald Trump later disclosed that he had spoken with Woods on that day.
According to the report, Woods said he takes medication for high blood pressure and cholesterol, and also uses ibuprofen and Vicodin, while denying alcohol use. A breath test recorded no alcohol in his system, but he refused a urine test for drugs.
The document indicates Woods and his legal team are contesting prosecutors’ effort to obtain his prescription records from the months leading up to the crash, arguing privacy concerns and seeking a protective order to limit disclosure.
Woods has pleaded not guilty and previously stated he is taking a break from golf to focus on his health and recovery, emphasizing health as the priority during this period.
