Colts representatives have already met with Louisville’s Chris Bell and Indiana’s Elijah Sarratt. A third wide receiver prospect has now joined the group of observed targets for Indianapolis, signaling emphasis on upgrading the receiving corps.
According to reports, the Colts recently hosted Tennessee wideout Chris Brazzell for a 30 visit. Brazzell emerged as a notable option after a productive collegiate season, drawing attention from several NFL teams.
Brazzell posted the second-most receiving yards in the SEC (1,017) and tied for the conference lead with nine receiving touchdowns. Across his college career, he accumulated 2,072 receiving yards and 16 total touchdowns, after starting his career at Tulane.
Physically, Brazzell presents a frame similar to Pittman Jr., standing 6’5” and considered a potential replacement as a big-bodied target for the Colts. His combination of size and receiving production makes him an appealing option for Indianapolis.
Beyond wide receivers, the Colts have also shown interest in strengthening depth at quarterback, meeting with North Dakota State signal-caller Cole Payton. Payton, a two-time FCS champion, offers dual-threat ability that could complement the offense.
The team remains active on draft day, with GM Chris Ballard indicating they may maneuver to add more picks as they approach the third day. Day 2 could feature significant movement as Indianapolis weighs how Brazzell, Payton, and other targets fit into its evolving offense.
