Pullin, who spent four college seasons at UC Riverside before finishing at Florida, emerged as a standout in the G League with the Iowa Wolves. At Florida, he averaged 15.5 points, 3.9 rebounds, and 4.9 assists per game while shooting 44% from the field and 44% from long range.
Drafted in 2024 but not selected in the two-round NBA draft, Pullin initially signed a two-way deal with the Miami Heat. He later joined the Grizzlies’ organization, seeing limited NBA action, including three appearances with Memphis, before being waived prior to the 2025-26 G League season.
Since returning to the Iowa Wolves, Pullin has thrived in Minnesota’s development system, posting strong numbers in the G League and during the Tip-Off Tournament, where he averaged 23 points, 3.3 rebounds, and 5.8 assists across 11 games. In the current NBA season, he has appeared in three NBA games for the Timberwolves with limited statistics.
The Timberwolves now prepare to host the Nuggets at 3:30 PM ET on Sunday, with Minnesota holding a 37-23 record and aiming to climb into the Western Conference’s fourth seed with a victory. The team has won two straight entering the game, and the new two-way contract adds depth as Minnesota seeks a continued push toward the top of the standings.
