Eagles president Don Smolenski framed the move as a defining step in long-standing collaborations with the team’s healthcare partners, praising NovaCare’s support over more than 25 years. Inside the facility, no renovations are planned beyond signage changes; the building’s interior remains as is from the 2020 update, with multiple weight rooms, meeting spaces, a cafeteria, and practice fields.
The name change is expected to take time for fans to adopt, as “NovaCare Complex” has been a fixture for 25 years. Beyond the facility branding, the Eagles are evaluating future stadium plans, with a lease at Lincoln Financial Field set to expire in 2032. Focus groups and surveys last year indicated a potential move toward a new stadium, potentially featuring a larger tailgate area and, historically, discussions about a translucent roof to host major events, though feasibility remains uncertain and contingent on public support.
