Jeudy’s production fell short of expectations, finishing the season with 50 receptions for 602 yards and two touchdowns after entering the year as the presumed No. 1 wide receiver following a Pro Bowl season.
Frustration on and off the field drew attention, including a sideline exchange with quarterback Shedeur Sanders and a terse, one-word response at a press conference, both of which fueled speculation about his future with the Browns.
Insider Mary Kay Cabot of cleveland.com reported that Cleveland expects Jeudy to rebound in 2026, aided by quarterback stability. The Browns currently have Shedeur Sanders, Deshaun Watson and Dillon Gabriel under contract, with head coach Todd Monken not yet committing to a starter for next season.
Jeudy signaled his focus in the aftermath of the season with a social media post about growth and being “Locked In” for what’s ahead, a message the team hopes aligns with a bounce-back performance on the field.
The Browns have begun reshaping their wide receivers room, naming Christian Jones as the new wide receivers coach. Jones, who previously coached the tight ends, played a key role in Harold Fannin Jr.’s productive rookie year, as Monken proceeds with an overhaul of Cleveland’s offensive staff, alongside OC Travis Switzer, OL coach George Warhop, QBs coach Mike Bajakian, pass game coordinator Danny Breyer and tight ends coach Jeff Blasko.
Meanwhile, Monken still needs to hire a defensive coordinator after Jim Schwartz tendered his resignation, leaving the defensive side of the staff to be finalized as the team moves into the upcoming season.
