Ian Rapoport of NFL Network says Kubiak, the Seattle Seahawks’ offensive coordinator, will have second-round interviews with both clubs before Super Bowl LX. While nothing is official, Rapoport notes the 38-year-old play-caller is firmly in consideration for one of the vacancies.
Klint Kubiak is the son of Hall of Fame coach Gary Kubiak. His coaching path began in 2010 as an offensive quality control coach at Texas A&M, followed by an NFL stint with the Minnesota Vikings starting in 2013. He has since served as offensive coordinator for the Vikings (2021), Saints (2024), and Seahawks (2025).
Kubiak rose to prominence in this coaching cycle after helping Seattle rank No. 7 in the NFL in offense, underscoring his reputation as an up-and-coming play-caller.
Seattle’s 2025 unit finished eighth in passing and tied for 10th in rushing, illustrating a balanced and productive attack under his direction.
With Webb out in Las Vegas, Kubiak would likely have an opportunity to land one of the remaining head coaching jobs, should he be offered and accept a position.
If hired, this would mark Klint Kubiak’s first NFL head coaching job, bringing a new chapter to a family with a long coaching legacy.
